Naftogaz, Ukraine’s state-owned gas and oil company, experienced a significant cyberattack, which affected a data centre used by the company, causing the website and call centre to go offline.

Gas Networks, a gas distribution service within the Naftogaz Group, also fell victim to a cyberattack on one of its data centres. Additionally, Ukrzaliznytsia, the state railway, reported that certain services were disrupted by hackers, impacting some customers’ ability to purchase tickets online.

Further compounding the situation, Ukrposhta, Ukraine’s postal service, faced IT system failures. The company acknowledged the issue and assured the public that its specialists were actively working to resolve the problem. Ukrtransbezpeka, a government agency responsible for transport and traffic security, reported that its website and the Shlyah system, which facilitates the movement of humanitarian or essential supplies out of Ukraine, experienced difficulties.
